Why We Require Deposits:

A deposit secures your appointment and reserves time exclusively for you. It also allows your artist to begin planning and preparing your tattoo.

Your deposit is not an additional fee. It is applied toward the cost of your tattoo and is credited at your final appointment.

If you choose to apply your deposit to an earlier session before your tattoo is complete, any remaining appointments will be removed from the schedule until a new deposit is placed.

Canceling or Rescheduling:

We understand that life happens.

If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, we ask that you provide at least 48 hours’ notice.

When proper notice is given:

  • Your deposit stays on your account.

  • It can be applied when you are ready to reschedule.

  • There is no expiration date on your deposit.

If you provide less than 48 hours’ notice without a valid reason, or fail to show up for your appointment, your deposit may be forfeited.

If You Decide Not to Get Tattooed:

If you no longer wish to receive a tattoo at Ironwood Ink, your deposit still has value.

You may:

  • Transfer your deposit to another person.

  • Have the deposit placed onto a transferable Ironwood Ink gift card.

  • Use that gift card for tattoos, piercings, or merchandise.

  • Give or sell the gift card to someone else.

Deposits are not refunded.

Extenuating Circumstances:

We understand that emergencies and unexpected life events happen.

If there are circumstances beyond your control that prevent you from keeping your appointment, we will review the situation on a case-by-case basis.

If We Need to Reschedule:

Occasionally an artist may become ill or experience an emergency.

If we need to reschedule your appointment, we will make every effort to get you back in with your artist as quickly as possible.

If that timeline doesn’t work for you, we’ll gladly discuss scheduling you with another artist if one is available sooner.

If Your Artist Leaves Ironwood Ink:

Your deposit is made to Ironwood Ink, not to an individual artist.

If your artist is no longer employed by Ironwood Ink before your tattoo is completed, your deposit will remain on your account with the shop.

You may:

  • Transfer your deposit to another Ironwood Ink artist.

  • Use your deposit toward another tattoo, piercing, or merchandise by converting it to a transferable gift card.

  • Transfer the gift card to another individual.
